Easy walk from the train station, shopping district, affordable restaurants, and a coin laundromat with powerful dryers. Built in a 2-story loft style, was very spacious, with more than enough room for 4 adult travelers + luggage. The free WiFi was excellent. The full kitchen--with fridge, microwave, toaster oven, hot pot, rice cooker, coffee maker, pots, dishes, & scissors--made it easy for us to prepare meals, snacks, & hot drinks. The traditional shower/bath combo, modern toilet, and washing machine made our 5-day stay feasible. We had to learn how and remember to turn on the hot water each time before using the tub/shower. When it rained, we were able to use umbrellas stored in the foyer. The fluffy futons made sleeping in the tatami rooms extra cozy!

Good location, sufficiently near to Kyoto and Lake Biwa. Two supermarkets within a short drive away. It is best to reach the place by your own car. The house is very well designed, decorated and maintained. Futaba-san is very accommodating and kind. He has extended his hospitality from the moment we booked the accommodation till the day we left, and always so courteous.

The apartment was very clean and spacious and has everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. Aki-san is a very nice and caring host, and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended to stay here, but it is better to have a car, which we did, and it was easy to find the location with google map.

The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. He prepared the home to be very clean and cozy for our arrival. When he took us to the train station, I absentmindedly forgot my bag at the house, and he went out of his way to drive back and bring it to me at the station—such a thoughtful gesture! The home itself was exceptionally clean and spacious, with a peaceful atmosphere and fresh air that my family absolutely loved. Thank you so much for hosting us!

We spent many days staying at this house. The house is located in a very convenient place where we can easily acces to both store and train station. The house is clean and comfort. We hope to come back and visit it in future.

Very new and well designed appartement, just a street away from the old center and the castle that is worth a visit, also close to a lot of shops and restaurants. We weren’t expected to stop in this town but it’s worth the visit, and that house was the perfect place to stay !
