We lived here for 7 days. It was a pleasure: large apartments, quiet, calm. Very nice host couple: they were welcoming and very helpful with all questions. Special thanks for delicious snacks and equipment of the apartments. Today - this is one of the best places on the island where we stayed. The week flew by very quickly and was a pleasure. Sami and Ailine were exceptional hosts for our time in Kandy! The newly renovated space is extremely clean and comfortable, and the balcony view is unreal. Sami was constantly arranging the best drivers, recommending great local restaurants and attractions, and all in all going out of his way to ensure we had a great stay! The optional breakfast offers a variety of delicious authentic Sri Lankan food - we opted for it each morning of our stay. Only a short tuk tuk from the bustling centre of Kandy, the Chocolate Factory House is extremely peaceful and quiet. Sami is always around to help out with any questions and made us feel at home. Highly recommend to anyone travelling to Kandy.
