compact room was quite cozy and very quiet next to the owners property, but we were left by ourselves, but in the knowledge if any issues they could be called upon,plenty of restaurants nearby in Kumeu, like the "Hive"

The apartment was clean and relatively new, with clear instructions and friendly, helpful staff. The area was quiet and scenic, yet the city center was within walking distance, saving us from searching for parking. It was also a great base for exploring the city. A thoughtful touch was the voucher for a free hot drink at a nearby café.

The hotel exceeded my expectations - it's a self-contained hotel unit/apartment that is spacious and has a fully functioning kitchen. The bonus was the cleaning staff who came every day & cleaned the kitchen and bathroom thoroughly. Also, the view from my hotel room was a forest, which was exactly what I needed - and there was a trail behind the hotel leading to a waterfall. It was serene and beautiful.
