The whole staff and especially the receptionnist, Mai, were super kibd bd helpful. She helped us in planning our trip in Ninh Binh and the tickets for our next destination. Food (breakfast and dinner) were also delicious and super convenient. I didn't know what to expect when I arrived but it was perfect.

We arrived extremely early (6am) due to our bus arriving in Ninh Binh 2 hours ahead of schedule. Regardless of arriving so early, we were met in a friendly manner and were checked-in right away. The family is extremely friendly, and although the older lady who runs the homestay doesn't speak English, she is an absolute treasure of a person and easy to communicate with. We used Google Translate to communicate with her. After checking out, they let us keep our bags there for the day so we could hang out in Ninh Binh without having to carry them around before our bus. The room was spacious, wifi worked well, AC worked well, room was well kept. Location can be a little far from the city center and sites, but bikes and motos are available for rental from the host if you don't plan on taking Grabs. The hosts offered food for a great price, and they gave us fruit and tea with it. Water there is also free from the water filter so no worrying about buying water from a store.

The staff and management were warm, welcoming and friendly. Upon our arrival, we were immediately greeted with a warm welcome and offered hot tea and drinks. The host readily answered our questions regarding places of interest that we wanted to visit, and even provided free bicycles for our family of 4 to use. We love the location of the lodge, with mountains in view and padi fields nearby and we enjoyed cycling around to explore the area. Our stay was in March and the weather was cool and lovely! Just a 5-min bicycle ride away are many shops, cafes and restaurants where we enjoyed our meals. We were served hot tea each time we came back to the lodge, and offered foot bath at the end of a long day out. After our checkout, the host personally sent us off with a friendly goodbye. They took great care of their guests and I would say that their hospitality was exceptional! Will definitely stay here if we visit Tam Coc again!

The property is very comfortable and the hosts are helpful, welcoming and friendly. It feels brand new, and the bedroom is large and clean. There is a seperate games room with a billiard table. The meals are delicious - we breakfasted and had dinner there for the three days we stayed. The accommodation and meals were excellent value. We were very pleased we had booked here rather than at the park where the accommodation looked tired. The bikes at the property were perfect for exploring the area and riding the short distance to the national park.

Even though we didn’t speak a word of each other’s languages, the host took the time to sit with us we had a pleasant conversation through Google Translate. It turned into a memorable evening with a very smooth rice wine. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. The next day, one of our motorbikes had a flat tyre. The host made a phone call and soon there was someone to replace the tyre.

The owner is very nice and helpful. He can support you with anything you need: tour, motorbike rental, bus tickets purchasing, etc. The garden of the house is very beautiful, the best place to have the good breakfast that can be provided. Room little small and normal. Location is little far from the centre, but with the motorbike is just 5 min. Totally recomendable.
