What a lovely family who really go out of their way to ensure your comfort. We arrived exhausted after a long hike, and while the restaurant at the villa was not open yet, Anamaria was so kind and made us a big salad with cheese and a basket of fresh bread and let me tell you, it was a mouthwatering salad (sounds ridiculous but really, it’s the best produce I ever tasted in a salad). Turned out that vegetables, eggs and chicken come from their garden. You enjoy eating a delicious dinner outside with stunning views and really fresh and organic ingredients. For those who claimed that the property is overpriced in the reviews, I’ve stayed in properties with farm to table concept before and with less impressive views and I paid three times more what I paid for Villa Shkalla. The property deserves every penny spent. Book your stay and make sure you eat there! You won’t regret it. Special thanks to Anamaria who was really wonderful and helpful.
