The building itself was amazing. The design, rooms, and yard were perfect for a cozy stay. The views from all the sides were stupendous, and we were even able to stargaze a bit while sitting at the table outside during the night. The calm and the nature sounds were relaxing. You could fall asleep like a baby. What i want to highlight is the owners and how friendly, warm, and caring they were. We didn’t have breakfast included on the price, but the lady cooked a full meal and said these were all on the house. This time i visited the place with a group of friends but I'm planning to visit again with my family. See you soon Stone House 😁

Guesthouse Alvi in Përmet biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, een terras en een bar. De units zijn voorzien van een balkon, een flatscreen-tv en een eigen badkamer met douche en slippers. Just exceptional experience. Away from the hustle and bustle. The standouts were: the gorgeous view over the river, the beautiful host family, and the food. We ended up extending our stay. Amazing location right by the river. We went swimming a couple of times which was so delightful for a few very hot summer days. There are a couple of different places to go in. RE food, a plentiful and delicious breakfast of omelettes, feta, jam, bread, traditional pancakes, tea & coffee. We only ate at the hotel restaurant for all our meals: it was so convenient, affordable, and the food was scrumptious! Well catered for vegetarians with flexibility in the menu. Loved the homemade raki! RE location, we didn't have a car so it was expensive to get from Permet to Petran (limited taxi options, no bus). The taxi driver originally charged us 2000 Leke one way, for a 10 minute drive. We ran to the thermal baths which was about 7km each way from the property. We were able to walk 15 minutes to the nearby rock climbing crag which was great. The region would be much better suited to having your own vehicle for exploring, although it was generally fine for us as we enjoyed the peace, tranquility, and downtime at Guesthouse Alvi. Eni, Alvi, and their parents were delightful and generous hosts who made us feel so welcome. We would 100% come back to Petran just to stay here. Comfortable beds. Wifi available. Sufficient bathroom facilities. Spacious room. No washing machine that we saw. No aircon which was fine during the day but a little warm overnight, particularly on days where it reached 36⁰C +. It was lovely and cool outside overnight, it just didn't quite make it into our room. The fan and open window helped.
