The place is located in a UNESCO protected heritage town, so although the price was high but the host and the property compensated for the price. The host was warm and welcoming despite the language barrier. After a long day of travelling and sightseeing it was a pleasure to come back to the room for a good night's rest. The host had taken care of thinking of every tiny details that someone on entry to the house (before one gets a chance to go to the town). Highly recommend this place!

We really loved staying at Carine and Geert’s place. It was very clean and the house was thoughtfully well designed. With modern en-suite toilets, aircon and insect screens to keep out the bugs while keeping the windows open for fresh breeze. The compound was beautiful and it was a safe and open place for my 2 young kids to run around outdoors everyday. They also adored Andre the alpaca and looked forward to feeding him and the chickens everyday. Geert and Carine’s hospitality was also much appreciated, they were around to help us in every way and the boys enjoyed riding the bike with Uncle Geert.

The apartment was beautiful, spotless and welcoming. The surroundings of the farmhouse were delightful, we loved the dogs, the animals and setting! The mattresses were the best and we had a great night sleep. Thank you to Jan for designing his route through Bruges, we discovered parts we've never seen before!
