It is away from the busy main streets but within walkable distance to all the good restaurants and stores.

Spacious, comfortable, quiet. A bit far from town. Can be a 30-40 minute walk from centre of town. But very safe, never felt unsafe even late at night. Car rental on site was helpful. Tours will pick you up at the hotel and taxi is about 5000clp, for the nights you stay in town for dinner. Hosts were most gracious, always available and very helpful through the whole process. The whole island operates on what's app. And we found that tour operators (private guides) are not available (no cell or wifi service on half the island where the tours are) during the day, but are very responsive at night.

Cabañas Honu Nui Inn ligt in Hanga Roa in de regio Valparaíso Region, dicht bij Hanga Roa Anthropological Museum en Ahu Tahai. De accommodatie biedt gratis privéparkeren. Miguel de gastheer is zeer vriendelijk en betrokken. Hij komt regelmatig langs en vraagt of hij nog wat kan doen of dat je nog wat nodig hebt. Zo kregen we een biertjes, nieuwe 10l water en een groot stuk watermeloen, vers fruit en een cadeautje bij vertrek. Heeft ons ook aan een huurauto voor 40 usd per dag geholpen. Ook biedt hij zich aan als gids. Verder is het huisje prima. Geen airco maar ventilator, wat goed werkt, de douche is heerlijk en er is veel ruimte.

Kauaraki Familiar heeft een balkon en is gelegen in Hanga Roa, op maar 12 minuten lopen van Playa Pea en 1,4 km van Ahu Tahai.

Cabañas moeVarua en Tahai ligt in Hanga Roa, op 16 minuten lopen van Playa Pea, en is voorzien van aan het strand accommodatie met een tuin en gratis WiFi. Great choice if you want to stay near the moai for a long time. Spacious, clean, quiet cabana with a small patio. Well equipped for cooking too. Air conditioning/heating. Twenty minutes walk from the center of Hangaroa. Some Mini-mini markets nearby for small necessities.

Henua Roa Loft ligt in Hanga Roa, op 18 km van Ahu Tongariki en 19 minuten lopen van Ahu Tahai, en biedt accommodatie met voorzieningen zoals gratis WiFi en een tv. Feels like a cabin in the village, very relaxing and comfortable. Very friendly hosts picked us up from the airport, we felt like a part of the family. 10 minute walk to the town. Fresh welcome juice was a nice touch. Good WiFi.

Literally just a few steps away from the entrance of Ahu Tahai; suitable for sunset and nice/quiet morning walk without the crowd. Nice and helpful host. The whole building was clean, cozy and tidy.

PARAÍSO Sunset Bungalows ligt in Hanga Roa met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een gratis shuttleservice, bar, tuin, terras en barbecue. The breakfast was very good with a choice of 4 pre set menu and every table has an amazing view of the ocean. The Ocean views from the balcony of the bungalows are incredible and there is an hamac where you can relax besides there are some seats and table where couple of times we enjoy a beautiful dinner. The kitchen is very well equipped if you feel like cooking and they even had excellent wine glases to enjoy a great" SALUD" The host Ximena which welcomed us when we arrived made us feel very comfortable and gave us many good tips about the Island ,Gracias Ximena.. Also Andrea who was the person that I was in contact before we arrive was very helpful and it inspired me to choose this wonderful place. This was a family trip for me my 3 sisters and my mother and we all felt the warmth of everybody that works there and most important they treat my mother Gloria like a Queen. Muchisimas Gracias.
