I cannot recommend Anjia High Altitude Hotel Apartments enough! This has been, without a doubt, the best accommodation experience I've had in Chengdu, primarily thanks to their outstanding customer service and luxurious facilities. From the moment I arrived in the city, the service was impeccable. They arranged for a seamless pickup, ensuring a stress-free start to my trip. The staff are just a call away and speak fluent English, which made communication incredibly easy and efficient throughout my stay. A special thank you goes out to Mr. Dennis, who was exceptionally helpful, as were the other members of the team. Their willingness to assist with everything—including laundry services and providing every amenity needed in the room—truly sets this place apart. As a gesture of hospitality (and perhaps recognizing my Booking.com Level 3 Genius status), I was delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to one of their smart penthouses. The apartment itself was stunning: modern, luxurious, and fully automated. Controlling the curtains and lights with smart switches felt incredibly futuristic and added a unique, upscale touch to the experience. The value for the price is excellent, and the level of comfort and service provided is unmatched. If you are visiting Chengdu and looking for top-tier accommodation with staff who genuinely care about your comfort, Anjia High Altitude Hotel Apartments is the only choice. Jiuzhaigou Bijia Boutique B&B - Bi's Joyful Haven bevindt zich in Jiuzhaigou, op minder dan 1 km van The Romantic Show of Jiuzhai en 6,1 km van Zharu Temple. This is a really lovely B&B. The owner is very knowledgeable about travelling in Western China and provided me with a lot of advice. Moreover, I thoroughly enjoyed the meals there.

Orange Apartments ligt in Chengdu, op 1,8 km van Nieuw internationaal conferentie- en expositiecentrum Chengdu Century City en 12 km van herdenkingstempel Wuhou, en biedt gratis WiFi. Great hotel, the rooms are vey spacious and the beds are massive! Staff were very responsive and helpful, they even kept my suitcase in storage while we went away exploring other places until we returned to Chengdu. This was my second stay at this hotel, and won't be the last, highly recommended!

Great location - there's lots of fantastic food vendors around and a DiDi (Chinese Uber) to the downtown area will only cost you ~$1.50. The streets are bustling at day but will be almost empty at night - but it always felt safe regardless of the time of day. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating, regularly checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. They were always available whenever we needed help and gave us a ton of great recommendations too! In a way, Arthur's Roof-Top felt like a bit of a HUB for tourists and expats coming to Chengdu. The apartment felt very spacious and clean and came equipped with all the amenities you'd expect. The somewhat rustic outside of the building definitely wasn't reflective of the cozy interior. Don't be surprised if the hosts ask you to pay via Alipay or WeChat - this is common practice in the PRC and in accordance with Booking's ToS. You're definitely gonna need those apps once you get to China! Also, you're gonna have to check-in at the local police station upon arrival. The whole process didn't take long and the hosts already had everything set up for us. The cops at the station seemed very friendly and even apologized for not knowing any English. All in all a great experience - I got nothing to complain about.
