The location is peaceful and beautiful, right by the lake — perfect for relaxing. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. What made this place special is the heart behind it. The owner, Pak Ali, is a kind and inspiring person. He also runs a foundation for children with cleft lips in Sumatra — which made my stay feel even more meaningful. Upstairs, there’s a vegetarian café with delicious food. They grow some of their ingredients on-site (farm-to-table concept), and I was blown away by the haloumi sandwich – they even import the cheese from the UK! It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a place that stays with you. I’d definitely come back if I visit Toba again.

Sophies Apartment Tuktuk está en Tuk Tuk y tiene vistas al lago, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. The apartment is very comfy and has a beautiful view of the mountains. Bed is nice. Sophie was really welcoming and let us check out late with no problem. We left around 12 but she offered us to stay past that.

Owner is a lovely guy who responds very fast. Also a lovely hot shower to make this very recommanded place.
