Church View House is gelegen in Kells, op een paar minuten lopen van St. Columba's Church en 1 minuten lopen van Monastery of Kells, in een omgeving waar je kunt vissen. Sarah was a spectacular hostess, she went above and beyond for sure. We arrived to fresh brown bread, jams and all the makings for crisp sandwiches! Sarah also had some fresh fruits, milk and other bits. Everything was absolutely flawless, the kitchen and baths were well stocked, just such an adorable place. We loved all the special touches, and Sarah was so responsive through our trip. We will absolutely be visiting again!

Rathgillen Cabin ligt op 19 km van St. Columba's Church en 19 km van Monastery of Kells, en is voorzien van gratis WiFi en een terras. We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.

Brownstead Cottage is gelegen in Navan, op 10 km van Solstice Arts Centre en 11 km van Hill of Tara, en biedt uitzicht op de tuin. Een heel huis ter beschikking, dus ruimte genoeg. Kinderen konden gaan slapen zonder dat we hen stoorden. Grote bedden en ruime kamers. Wasmachine ter beschikking, en de hosts leenden even hun wasrekje. Ook hadden ze brood, melk, confituur, boter en kaas voorzien, waardoor we 's ochtends lekker konden ontbijten. De gastheer gaf nog enkele interessante tips voor een restaurant en bezienswaardigheden in de buurt.

Wij (ouder echtpaar, geen kinderen) verbleven van 12tot 14 september 2024 in Bective Stud Apartments. De accommodatie bevindt zich op een nieuw, groot, modern en luxe paardencomplex. Ook de accommodatie zelf is nieuw, luxe, groot en modern. Een ruime begane grond met voldoende zitgelegenheid en een volledig uitgeruste keuken. Op de bovenverdieping een luxe slaapkamer en een fraaie badkamer. Wij beschikten over eigen vervoer. Dat is, volgens ons, ook noodzakelijk gezien de ligging van de accommodatie. Er is overigens parkeergelegenheid onmiddellijk voor de accommodatie. We (older couple, no children) stayed at Bective Stud Apartments from September 12 to 14, 2024. The accommodation is located on a new, large, modern and luxurious horse complex. The accommodation itself is also new, luxurious, large and modern. A spacious ground floor with ample seating and a fully equipped kitchen. On the top floor there is a luxurious bedroom and a beautiful bathroom. We had our own transport. In our opinion, this is also necessary given the location of the accommodation. There is parking immediately in front of the accommodation.

Cloneymore Guest House beschikt over uitzicht op de tuin, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een balkon, op 14 km van Monastery of Kells. Great hosts and property. We were amazed how nice,causing exclamations like “wow” from one member of our party. It had a home like feeling, and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Exceptionally clean and inviting.

The Éire Escape Studio is gelegen in Slane, op 8,3 km van Hill of Tara, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis WiFi en een bagageopslagruimte. Adrienne was an amazing hostess. She was very friendly and easy to get on with and full of information on where to eat and things to do in the area. There were easy to follow instructions on how to use the tv, heating, showers etc. and details of local shops and bus times. Basic essentials were available, bread, butter, water bottles, shampoo, shower gel etc. The suite was warm, well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The tv had access to streaming services. The location is a little far out from town and would require a car however everything was within driving distance, local shops, historic sites, surrounding towns. The suite was very affordable. I couldn't recommend Adrienne more.
