We initially booked AHAVAH just because we had an early morning boat tour nearby, but the room was so comfortable and the hosts so welcoming that I wish we could have stayed longer. Ashley was super responsive and helpful from the moment I made the booking, and his entire family is friendly and welcoming. The homemade breakfast was top notch, and they were kind enough to prepare it early so that we could enjoy it before heading out on the boat tour. The facilities were clean and we had everything we could have needed, including a washing machine, mosquito repellent for night (definitely needed), and good wifi. Highly recommend!

The place was very clean and comfortable. Kerstin was such a lovely host and helped us settle in and know other places to get things we needed for our stay like taxis and halal restaurants. We would definitely recommend for any body visiting the eastern side of Mauritius.

From arrival to stay until departure, all the support and suggestions. I liked everything. It is a place to make your base to explore the eastern part of the island. Andrea is an amazing host, he is super kind and helpful. He will get you the best deals, best suggestions, and best tips to explore the island. The house is super clean, pool is amazing. The area is peaceful. It is a perfect spot to rest, relax, and if you want adventures--just ask Andrea and he will organise it :) I'd love to come back and stay again at his property. It is a nice place for a solo travellers to a family of four to a couple. Just read the past reviews and give it a try, you'll experience it yourself. Artists House East está en Trou d'Eau Douce, a 2 min a pie de Playa de Trou d'Eau Douce y a 13 km de Campo de golf Le Touessrok, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, jardín y zona... If you found this place available for your dates - just book it or you will regret ;-) We stayed 5 days and they gone very quickly. This little charming outbuilt is positioned 2 min walk to the sea with its own private beach. The studio has everything you need to cook, to sleep and to have lovely meals on your own veranda listening to the birds singing... At the beach there are treas to hide you in the shade. Clear lovely waters to swim with corals, various fish to snorkel and as I spend hours in the water I saw also star fish, sea cucumbers and sea slugs and even octopus - that in the area a bit further 15-10 min walking. No real need for coral shoes but some people I saw wearing them. I wasn't. Nearest big supermarket SuperU gives you a great choice of all sorts of goodies... Just need to plan this 20 min drive into your day plans. There is a little village by car 5-10min with some little shops and several eating places. Marice and Hevre thank you again for letting us to share your paradise. Loved our stay and i cried as I didn't want to leave. We hope come back next year!!

Sunset view suite has always been wonderful in its modern and spacious space,I stayed here for the second time very peaceful area with it mixtures of nature on one side and the beach on a walking distance on one side.
