As a generous touch, we were offered free masks and fins to explore the lagoon — that made our stay even more special. Just a short 5–10 minute walk away is the Sofitel beach, which has excellent infrastructure and is perfect for swimming or relaxing. Without a doubt, this was our favourite stay in all of French Polynesia. We left a piece of our hearts here and can’t wait to come back!

Bed linen is provided. 2 minutes from the most beautiful beach, great for families. The restaurant Chez Irene's up the road was great and only a 5 minute walk. What we wish we knew: there was a full equipped kitchen but the shops on the island are really expensive. We could have came with more from the main island supermarket and fruit market to make the most of it. There is a nespresso machine so bring pods, laundry but no powder, dishwasher but no soap! If you have some at home, just put a few capsules in your luggage. There were also lots of games, snorkel masks and tennis racquets to borrow from reception. Lots of places on the beach to book snorkel tours, scuba and kayaks. A restaurant overlooking the water 2 minutes down the beach.

Such a lovely, tranquil slices of paradise. Breakfast was provided the night before on a tray to store in our fridge over night. That gave us the flexibility and privacy to have breakfast whenever we wanted. There were free kayaks to take out for a paddle and plenty of chairs to relax on a private beach.
