We stayed in Szarkafésztek just one night, but we really enjoyed our stay. The host was really kind and communicative. The accommodation was modern and very comfortable . We slept so well. We were sad because we couldn't stay longer. There are also some terraces with places for siting. We would have used them if there was time. We also liked shared kitchen. We can also recommend Bistro/Café Mokka. Perfect breakfast and very nice personnel. And on the top of that we were mesmerized by the town Keszthely: beautiful castle and gardens, interesting town centre and museums and of course Balaton lake. Great place to spend the holiday.

Lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful. The owner met us on arrival and even helped with our luggage. Took us throughout the property to show us everything. There’s a lovely outdoor area and a cute little dog (addi). Everything is nice and clean and there’s a kitchen to use. It was a great location to go around the Balaton area. Definitely recommend.

The hostess offered to stay in a family room. We felt at home there. A very cozy place, very close to all the main attractions, cafes, shops and the lake itself. The cabin was beautiful, peaceful, and just steps from Lake Balaton—perfect for a small family getaway. There were endless grassy areas where we could relax, play, and blow up toys to take into the lake, which was a huge hit with the kids. Alexandra at the front was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even more special.
