El Miyajima Seaside Hotel está situado a solo 5 minutos en coche del puerto de ferris de Miyajima, utilizando su servicio de traslado gratuito, y goza de unas vistas preciosas al océano. La atención del personal fue excelente. Todos muy amables y atentos a nuestras necesidades. La comida deliciosa e incluso nos mostraron la tradición de celebrar setsubun el 02/02. Antes de llegar nos preguntaron si teníamos restricciones alimenticias y siempre se mostraron muy atentos.

The guesthouse is right on the beach and a perfect stop while doing the Shimanamikaido bike trail The owner is very friendly and welcoming The tatami room with futons was very comfortable for our family of 4.

Guest House Diphylleia Grayi se encuentra en Hatsukaichi, a 19 km de Parque Memorial de la Paz de Hiroshima y a 19 km de Monumento de la Paz de Hiroshima. The owner was amazing and helpful.

GLAMPDOME SETOUCHI-SHIMANAMI está a 23 km de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine y ofrece jardín y terraza, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. Incredibly serene right next to the water. Domes and BBQ areas are great. Beds super comfy. They offer some foods to buy to grill. Know that the place is kind of remote with the closest town being Setoda on the other side of the island. We arrived by bike so had to be thoughtful to bring foods to cook.

SASAKOJIMA cottage está en Kure, a 17 km de Ondonoseto Park y a 18 km de Areikarasukojima Park, en una zona donde se puede practicar pesca. A unique self-catering experience which includes the added attraction of the adjacent H F Royce Museum which has a small (18 vehicles) but interesting collection of Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars - a must for car enthusiasts. Indeed, the 'quality' element of the cars is reflected in the accommodation - illuminated with Swarovski crystal chandeliers, equipped with fine Noritake and Wedgwood china, not to mention the latest Panasonic washlet toilets. Sasakojima Cottages is an unusual destination, I think, for European visitors to Japan as it is a bit off the beaten track but it has a lovely location fronting onto a beautiful bay looking southward to the Inland Sea and multiple islands. If you are looking to chill, this is the place but you will most probably need to hire a vehicle to get out and about. It provides excellent self-contained accommodation (we stayed for nearly two weeks) and as there is not too much choice in the way of nearby eateries, you will most probably want to do a daily shop for food. That said, Sasakojima Cottages has a very good lunchtime only restaurant. Opened earlier in 2022, Sasakojima Cottages clearly caters for Japanese visitors stopping for only one or two nights. I would encourage the extraordinary owner or manager to pack a bag and stay for three or four nights on a purely self-catering basis to fully realise the potential of this beautifully-located and unique venue.
