I loved the cozy and personal atmosphere, and the view of the sea/harbor from my room was amazing.

The elegant rooms include a satellite flat-screen TV and tea maker.... It’s an outstanding place to stay right at the end of Ama-no-Hashidate. It’s a modernized traditional Japanese house with an onsen, whose owners did not spare any effort to make me comfortable, even driving me very early the next day so I can join my friends at their hotel in Miyazu and catch an early train to Kyoto. I wish I could have stayed longer in that dreamy place. Highly recommended.

Everything is very clean, everything is new, and the hotel staff is amazing, responsive, and kind. Breakfasts are a separate delight! If you've ever dreamed of completely immersing yourself in Japanese beauty, culture, and solitude, I definitely recommend this place. The public onsen at the hotel is very beautiful, the one in my room is also excellent. The views are simply incredible! During my big trip to Japan, this was the best place in terms of feeling. Facing the seafront, LiVEMAX RESORT Kyotango Sea Front is a ryokan providing a 3-star accommodation in Kyotango. It features an open-air bath, massage services and private parking. The Kitchen staff was extremely kind and accommodating my dietary restrictions. The access from the hotel to a few beaches were excellent. They even gave us a bag of towels to take. The view of Sunset from the hotel roof-top was spectacular! We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in a Japanese style room and it was amazing! My first time using the onsen and it was really good! The location is just across the amanohashidate station. One of the best hotel we have stayed in.

The ocean view was lovely, the facilities impeccably clean and the beds were very comfortable. the owner left a little Japanese biscuit or cake with the tea which we found charming.
