Wat een mooie plek. Dichtbij de haven om met de boot naar het marinapark te varen. In de ochtend kaartjes gekocht voor de dag zelf. Ging prima!!

Bonheur at Karambunai is gelegen in Kota Kinabalu, op een paar minuten lopen van Karambunai Beach en 29 km van Filipino Market Sabah, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en toegang... Prachtige plek zo aan de zee! Wel in 'the middle of nowhere' dus hadden voor ieder boodschapje een grab nodig. Het gehele resort ziet er wat verouderd uit. Zeker zo'n 10 zwerfhonden lopen over het terrein. De buitendouche was fijn en ook het zwembadje hebben we van genoten. Fijne ligstoelen. Keukeninventaris is wat krap: 3 mokken, 3 vorken, verder overal precies 4 van. Nathan was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Reageerde snel op een berichtje en kwam bijna dagelijks langs met een kadootje. Om de dag werd er schoongemaakt. Mooie plek maar ook flink prijzig!

AJ Residence - Above Peppermint Asia City ligt in Kota Kinabalu, in de buurt van Filipino Market Sabah, KK Esplanade en Atkinson Clock Tower, en biedt gratis WiFi. Stunning room, clean and luxury feel to it. Staff were great, really helpful and had good communication through WhatsApp. We wish we could’ve stayed longer! You’d definitely struggle to find a nicer place than this in Sandakan. 10/10 recommend

My Suite Home 2 Bedroom Suite bevindt zich in Kota Kinabalu, op 16 minuten lopen van Filipino Market Sabah en 3,6 km van Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village, en biedt gratis WiFi, een buitenzwembad... The property is situated within Mercure Hotel, and is on one of the residential floors rather than hotel floors. Very comfortable apartment, 2 bedroom and 2 washrooms as described, with a kitchenette equipped with minimal cooking utensils, which is not a problem for us because it was super easy to get food with many eateries and the jetty just within walking distance for fresh seafood. Room was very clean. Self-check in is extremely straightforward, with key card for the lift picked up from the side of the building and room access is via a password keypad. Eilvane is super easy to get in touch with, and super responsive, and also kindly provided some snacks, water and also parking coupons as well for parking outside of the apartment. She is also full of suggestions and ideas for great food options and things to do! View from the rooftop floor with a cafe was breathtaking. Would definitely stay here again in the future! Good location just 2 mins walk to Jesselton Point and 5 mins to a shopping mall. Convenience stores, 24hr restaurant and self-operated laundry available on the Ground Floor. Awesome view from the unit. Host is very considerate, everything we needed were all provided i.e. sufficient towels include kitchen towels and floor mates, liquid hand wash, shampoo, toilet rolls etc. Clean unit with good air condition and water pressure. We were given 2 sets of keys to the unit which was very convenient for us 4. We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. Firm mattresses that may not suit everyone but we are ok with it. Will be back.
