The staff was wonderful, especially Sonia on the front desk. No request seemed to phase her. She organized a tour of north eastern Maderia that was wonderful. The hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of the old part of Funchel, near the Municipal Gardens.

The property is a beautiful, clean building located in a small side street behind the Savoy Palace. The street has numerous nice restaurants and is extremely well located. The old city is an easy walk and the Lido area is also easy to reach by foot.
