You’re basically sleeping with the sound of nature! It is well ventilated but still very clean, spacious and comfortable. The host was worried that the road to his house was not good enough because 500m are unpaved, but it is in good condition and no problem at all to reach it, even in the rain. The hosts were very nice!

Very cute hotel, close to the beach, and the staff was amazing and always available to help. The rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was good and the restaurant/bar fairly priced.

Very nice place close to the center but far enough to be quiet. All necessary places in walking distance ! You can use the kitchen to cook for yourself !

The hotel is beautiful and the staff and owners are friendly and helpful. Excellent generous breakfast with lots of options including the traditional Dominican mangu breakfast. Special call out to Luiz for being great. Thank you for making us feel extra welcome.

We liked everything in this hotel. This is exactly this kind of little boutique hotel where you meet friendly attitudes with amazing hosts. They prepared a superb breakfast and we loved to talk about life with Jaume. The room was nicely decorated it was clean and spacey. Only regret that we didn`t have enough time to stay longer in this fantastic hotel.

The owners were amazing, very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were big and the pillows were extremely comfy. A very peaceful sleep in a quiet suburb, would definitely stay again.

I loved staying here. It feels like a lovely secluded cabin in the jungle, but it is only a few minutes' walk from the beach. The hosts are great - welcoming, friendly, helpful, and generous. The decor of the room is delightful.

Casa Barbara is close to the town and to the beach. It is a short walk off the main road in a quiet location and feels very safe. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the pool is beautiful! The hosts are very friendly and easy going.

The best hotel we stayed in during our trip in DR. Friendly and helpful staff,beautiful room,great facilities(pool) and the best breakfast ever! Away from the noisy party places but actually very close by foot.
