I don't write reviews except in exceptional cases. I found Metochi Gavdos an exceptional good place. Maria was a joyful and helpful host, the rooms felt spacious and the outside area had a great vibe. One of the best price-quality places I have been to.

Great location, beautiful sea view from the terrace. Well equipped apartment. Very friendly staff, great services, real Greek hospitality! All beaches and/or other places to visit are easily accessible either by local public transport or by car.

Absolutely the **creme de la creme** of accommodation in Kastri, Gavdos! We only stayed for a couple of nights, but it was the perfect balm for our souls, especially when our little one came down with gastroenteritis, and I, in turn, caught the bug. This gem is nestled right on the edge of the forest, with a trail leading directly to Ampelos beach. Imagine stepping out your door and into a hiking adventure that ends with your toes in the sand. The view? Spectacular. You're treated to a panoramic vista of the sea and the island, soaking in those authentic Aegean vibes. If we ever return to Gavdos, this spot is non-negotiable. Hmm at least unbelivable. Maria, Nikos and Family doing all the best to make your stay comfortable. It starts with the very warm welcome goes on with the tranquility you get when you stay in one of the rooms with breathtaking views over the sea and ends with the fantastic food they serve in the taverna. We will comeback for sure!
