Everything! The place is lovely, the staff is very careful (a special thanks to Paulus) and so nice! Food is really good, different every day and perfect in quantity! You can snorkel directly from the jetty and it’s lovely, but the excursion they offer are also amazing as they perfectly know the islands, the currents and everything you should know! The Sawanggrai village is very nice to visit and people are very kind! You can see coucous and puppies directly at the home stay! Go for it !

A little paradise in Raja Ampat! Aron and his family are very good host, super friendly and always willing to help. A smile always around. In other reviews I read there are not activities and actually if you are a bit adventurous, not 100 mtrs swimming from there, you can snorkel and you will find turtles, sharks and a beautiful coral reef around. Be prepared to be connected with nature, lot of birds and very tasty and generous portions of food. Honestly the food is very, very nice 🙏🏼🤩🫶🏼 Thanks Aron and family, and a big kiss to little Louise🥰😘

Staying at Beser Bay in Raja Ampat was an exceptional experience. The location offers tranquility and seclusion, ideal for relaxation. The house reef boasts diverse marine life, including walking sharks, blacktip sharks, clownfish, stingrays, and various fish species, providing constant underwater entertainment. Day trips for snorkeling, especially encounters with mantas, were a highlight. These excursions allowed for a closer exploration of Raja Ampat's marine ecosystem. Absolutely the best experience in Raja Ampat! Great location, stunning house reef. Small, cosy resort, only 4 rooms, definitely no crowd, but you do not feel lonely either. Andy and Esni, the British owner and the Sumatran manager (and dive/snorkel master too) are great, friendly, professional, caring, and eco friendly too: e.g., this is the only resort on the archipelago - as far as I know - which uses solar panels for electricity, rather than generators. The food is great, tasty and different every day (except the British breakfast in the morning 😊). The only place in Indonesia with decent bread: the secret is simple, Andy makes the dough and bakes the bread every day. The two rooms out on the jetty are the best values, but the other two are OK too.

Amazing week with Frances who is the best guide/homestay owner in Raja Ampat. Always in a friendly atmosphere, Frances brought us to many places (Piaynemo, Rufas, Arborek, Kri) and known all the places and people really well. We appreciated that he organised for us some extra visits to the different villages to meet the local people and organised a little bqq. We saw Manta Ray 2 times during our stay because Frances knew the place and the right time to see them. We organised scuba diving with the diving center in Kri which is closed by (count 400k IDR for the way back and forth). The homestay is nicely placed and with only 3 houses it's really calm. In front of the homestay you have corals and fish to go snorkeling whenever you want. Little basic shower (vessel of water with bucket) and toilet in the back of the house. Food was good and we slept well.

Methos is amazing. Evenings spent sitting on the deck are a lasting memory. The coral and sea life right at your feet and watching predator action was great. We twice saw an Epaulet shark cruise by under our feet at night. The house reef is excellent - just watch for the tides and currents. My Red Bird of Paradise walk was excellent, four males "pole dancing" for a female!. Wasai cuscus an amazing creature. No 6 is the Bungalow to book. The food was fine for this type of facility with a rice staple.
