Had a wonderful stay at the Sky View Cabin Unawatuna! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious and worth every penny—great value for the price. The overall experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Galle. The rooms are quite big and very clean. We had everything that we needed. The place is a short walk distance from the main beach ( around 4 min). Breakfast is more than enough, homemade gem that is extremely tasty. When it comes to the staff, no words can describe their hospitality. Places become more beautiful because of people. I will definitely be returning soon!

I can’t recommend this place enough!! Such an hidden gem in Unawatuna! The location is a bit far away from the beach, ca. 20 min walking but it’s perfectly doable and if you want to go to the centre you can easily find a tuktuk. It is the perfect place to connect with nature!! Such an amazing pool with the most beautiful relaxing areas. You can read outdoors in a little lounge! Room was absolutely perfect and clean, bed super comfortable and the “open air” bathroom was so nice, the pressure in the shower is perfect!! I also need to recommend the breakfast, amazing variety and everything so tasty!! So as the snacks in the restaurant!! The Staff is absolutely amazing, Dhali was absolutely the sweetest and really caring!! So as the young man at the reception, Oshadi (i hope i’m not writing it wrong) who was very welcoming since the beginning and helped us with everything. Also at the main entrance were two coworkers, who helped us with our luggage and made sure everything was meeting our needs!! I sadly don’t know their names but we were so well impressed from the whole staff!! They will definitely make you feel at home! Our flight was late in the evening and they even let us stay there and enjoy the pool and kept our luggage safe.

We enjoyed our stay at Agnus so much that we didn’t leave !!! We were going to visit Galle for the evening but stayed and enjoyed cocktails at sunset beside the pool and a delicious dinner at the in house restaurant. There was plenty to choose from, Delicious Sri Lankan curry and European for my teenage son. From the warm welcome to the stunning views we were really blown away. The manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect - Thank you. The pool bar tender was lovely and made delicious cocktails. The roof top infinity pool was stunning and the boutique nature of the hotel made our stay feel special. Our corner room had spectacular views of the Ocean and the room was clean and tidy, with a nice tiled bathroom. I highly recommend Agnus for an enjoyable place to stay. Everything was superfine all personnel was super nice. They even made for us breakfast box since we had to leave early for flight. When we will visit Unawatuna we definitely will return to this hotel.
