The breakfast was fabulous, a platter of fresh fruits, a fruit juice, choice of swahili tea or coffee, eggs cooked to your choice and Esther every day brought out something different, (samosas were amazing) as well as doughnuts style bread (one plain one with sugar). We had a junior suite which was a great size and very modern, bright and clean. Esther and Naima cleaned daily. Little touches such as towels for the pool were available to use. The pool area was gorgeous with plenty of seating and a TV to put music or whatever on when sitting by the pool. Loved the sofa leading into the pool too. Emmanuel was very informative with information and the whole team were generally just so lovely and welcoming

We had a very comfortable stay at Imara. The staff were excellent - very helpful and friendly. They helped us order taxis and even arranged someone to pick up bandaids when my partner injured his foot. The room was spacious with good air con. The food in the restaurant is very good, including the breakfast. Nishka is a great bartender and made probably the best cocktails we had in Zanzibar. Would happily stay at Imara again.

everyone in this hotel is super friendly, everything feels heartfelt and warm. the hotel is perfect for relaxing as there is no entertainment which we loved. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, the rooms are clean and the food and drinks are amazing. We really loved the a la carte style. Keep up the amazing work.

We have booked this hotel as our wedding venue and we went ahead to scout the location and hotel. The hotel was very accommodating. By far the nicest property on the stretch of Kiwengwa beach. Wonderful personal touches throughout the stay and a quiet oasis. Felt very private.
