The hosts Catherine and Philippe were very kind and thoughful. We received a welcome drink at our arrival. Great breakfast. Large space including a living room, there was also a TV and DVD player with some old movies. The pool area was nice. Please note that the refrigerator and microwave is by the pool. There is a boulangerie around the corner and two restaurants by the lake which is walking distance to (one outdoor restaurant). Very quiet village.

It has a beautiful location in the Dordogne hills, and comes with a large terrace with a wonderful view enhanced in the morning by numerous hot air balloons. The kitchen is well-equipped, though could do with a microwave particularly as the gas hob is a bit erratic. The bedrooms are all a good size and ensuite with baths and showers. A particular feature, which the children loved, is the large and attractive swimming pond, complete with tadpoles, frogs and dragonflies, with an environmentally friendly filter system and a stony/shingly beach area well supplied with umbrellas and sun loungers.
