Beach Hotels in Lake District

The hotel is right on the beach which is perfect for a wee break. The staff at reception were friendly and very helpful. Parking was free, they give you a coupon to display on the dashboard when you check in. The room had tea/coffee making facilities which is nice.

A fresh, modern house superbly located in the village to make the most of the famed sunsets overlooking the Solway and across to Scotland. Right on top of the beach and coastal path. The addition of the conservatory allows you to make the most of your stay all year round no matter what the weather. Great communication with the owners, fast and courteous replies. Looked to assist us at every opportunity. Credit to them!

The bungalow was cosy and relaxing, watching the sunset from the conservatory was amazing,tranquil area with lots of fun on the beach even in a storm! Close to tourist attractions if you want to go to them but we spent the two days just relaxing and letting the kids play freely

Fine location right on the beach (but a 15 minute walk from railway station). Large room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Convenient for the start of Coast to Coast Walk

The hotel is right on the beach, excellent if the weather is good. For walkers it's easy access to the coast to coast path. The breakfast is huge and very filling. We ate one evening meal in the hotel and it was very good. All food was cooked fresh to order. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was modern with a good shower. We enjoyed our stay here.

Right on the beach front . Nice garden where we had a drink and a sandwich Bedroom and bathroom was clean and spacious
