We are retired and have travelled the world extensively. We know when a hotel is not up to expectations (and have walked out of a couple after just a few hours). This place was exceptional. I just reread the past comments - accept what all the good ones say at face value because they reflect our experience there. Irini was exceptional on the front desk and Elizabeth, who cleaned our room every day, was exceptional! When I read each negative review I wondered if they are referring to a different hotel. If those people were expecting a $500 a night experience they should have stayed in a $500 a night hotel - there are lots to choose from on the island. Having a rental car I found there was always a parking space to return to without having the negotiate the narrow streets of the inner town. My wife’s main criteria is a comfortable bed and a clean room and environment. Mohitero got 5/5 on both. We really enjoyed the gardens and the birds and the peace and quiet. We would have no hesitation returning. It was a nice place to come “home” to after a busy day. The pictures on Booking reflect what was saw while there.

Mykonos Airport is 2 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. I totally loved my stay at Villa Varnali! Tasos, the host is a whole vibe! :) He was great, helpful, welcoming and always available. The room is nice and clean. The location is perfect!! It's hard to get a similar place, at that price, with the pool, a beautiful view and 5 min walking distance from downtown Mykonos. Highly recommended!!

I especially liked all the beautiful flowers everywhere. so much attention to detail for example the light, there were light everywhere like under the bed and in each little area.

A state-of-the art fitness centre and sauna are also available. I only stayed for one night before moving to other part of the island for other program but enjoyed the stay very much! Everyone was so helpful and kind! They arranged last minute pedicure and manicure for me including the transport. They helped me bring friends from other hotels to have dinner with me and offered a very fair price while the other hotels were asking exorbitant prices for the private transfers. The food was very nice!

I wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

This 4-star hotel features a freshwater pool and bright rooms with air conditioning and a fan. Excellent breakfast, huge selection available, dishes change every day. Airport/ferry transfer is included and worked very well. Everything is very clean and well kept, including the pool area. Staff extremely friendly and helpful (in all areas of the hotel).

Guests can enjoy a generous breakfast served in the sunny breakfast room, a drink at the sitting area and stunning views at the spacious veranda, which overlooks the sea. From beginning to end everything was amazing! They came to pick us up from the port and when we arrived we had a welcome drink to accompany the amazing view! Everyone was so warm and welcoming and it really made you feel like you were home. The complimentary breakfast was beyond amazing! We loved the rooftop for sunset there was never a need to find a bar with a view because we had the best! We loved watching the sunset overlooking the ocean with a glass of delicious white wine. We were so sad to have to leave but grateful that they helped us get to the airport as well. 10/10 Recommend!
