The house is a true gem by the lake — simple, yet it has everything you need. There’s hot water in the bathroom, a fridge and stove in the kitchen, plus a coffee maker and, of course, coffee. The location is peaceful and perfect for nature lovers. The highlight of the house is definitely the balcony with a hammock, where you can relax and enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over the lake. The host was incredibly kind and helpful — he even helped carry my luggage to the house. Sunrise Lago Atitlán is about a 5–10 minute walk from the San Pablo dock. It’s definitely easier if you’re traveling with a backpack rather than a suitcase, as the path isn’t ideal for wheeled luggage. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature!

Cabañas del Lago ligt in San Pedro La Laguna in de regio Solola, en heeft een patio en uitzicht op de bergen. Privéparkeren kan worden geregeld tegen een meerprijs. The cabin is located right on the bank of the lake, offering a stunning view once you leave the compound (there is a fence there for security reasons!) and the inside is cute and cosy. The kitchen equipment is slightly limited but was good enough for some tacos in front of the lake. The staff were very friendly and patient (I arrived not knowing it was cash-only, but they were trusting enough to let me go to the cash machine in my own time). Situated about 5 minutes walk from the village, it doesn't take long to reach the restaurants and bars, though is far enough to not be bothered by the noise.

Casita del Sol is gelegen in Sololá. Er is een terras en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en je hebt uitzicht op de tuin. We stayed in casa santa cruz for 2 nights. It was a really beautyfull apartment in the middle of nature. Also the host esteban was really nice and always close by when needed. It is a 2 min walk to the lake downhill where you can swim and chill. Really recommend this apartment!

Loved the location of the homestay, the design and the food baskets. Fantastic view of the lake and surrounding area. The host was very responsive and helpful. The homestay is in a more isolated area, has a few steps to climb and there are no shops / restaurants in the area (all of which are clearly stated in the description). If you're ok with this, you will definitely not regret booking!
