Beautiful views, excellent staff and we loved all the natural beauty of the property. Would stay again on my next visit to Omeptepe. The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

Rancho Tranquillo ligt aan het strand in Moyogalpa, op 34 km van vulkaan Maderas en is voorzien van diverse voorzieningen, zoals een tuin en een terras. The ranch is beautiful and spaceous with lots of hammocks and spots to hang out. Daniela and Tony are the absolute best, so kind and helpful. There is only one dorm, so not that many people, and because of that it feels like a small family. The ranch is 15 minute walk from the town/ferry, so it is nice and quiet. The breakfasts are amazing and really good value, and one day we had a family dinner, which was delicious. You are surrounded by animals and flowers and trees, even mango-trees which you can help yourself from! They organise volcano tour (with delicious packed lunch), kayak and laundry if you need. This was my favourite place to stay on my trip, everyone should go visit this ranch!!

Finca La Magia is gelegen in Ometepe, op 5,4 km van vulkaan Maderas, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. Iedere unit heeft een zitgedeelte en een eetgedeelte. Absolutely loved staying at Finca La Magia! It's such a beautiful and quiet spot, the staff was incredibly friendly and all facilities and rooms were spot clean. We really enjoyed the outdoor showers and the pets were adorable as well

Rocks Beach is gelegen in Balgue in de regio Ometepe en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. We loved our stay here so much that we ended up extending a few more nights. The bedroom and kitchen are clean and comfortable. The hammocks on the balcony are a great touch. We made friends with the guest in the room next door which was a plus. The store on the corner of the street to the main road has chocobanana for 5 cords and yummy nacatamals on a Sunday

Hostal Así es mi Tierra ligt in Balgue, op 12 km van vulkaan Maderas, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Great shared spaces, the lake is accessible right at the back of the property for a fresh swim with locals, the staff are really friendly and helpful and have food, scooters, etc on offer for reasonable price. Balgue was a great location for tranquility but proximity to attractions of Ometepe. Cute dogs :) good value for money.

Xalli Beach Hotel ligt in Altagracia, op een paar minuten lopen van Playa de Santo Domingo, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. The location, the staff, the breakfast, the mellow beach a few steps away from the hotel room. It was all incredible:) all the staff were wonderful but special shout out to Karina at the front desk, she was seriously EXCEPTIONAL. I would trust her with my life jaja.

Hotel Restaurante Los Cocos is gelegen in Santa Cruz, op minder dan 1 km van Playa de Santo Domingo, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Idyllic setting just across the road from a small lakeside beach . Comfortable rooms , great Breakfast and 1 minute walk from a supermarket which is open 18 hours a day. Marlon the owner is a gentleman, nothing is too much trouble and I will always treasure memories of having a beer and watching the World Series with him in the bar.

I loved the location on the water, it is far from the ferry and down a bit of a bumpy road, but we had our own transport so was fine. Nice to be away from the crowds in a very peaceful place. The bungalow is simple, clean & comfortable with good a/c & wifi. A really good breakfast of your choice is included & the beer is ice cold! One of the owners, Fernando is super friendly, funny & chill. The kayak rental was great.
