El Puerto Bed and Breakfast offers accommodation in Hoorn with views over the harbour. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and guests can enjoy a jacuzzi and rainshower. Ria, the owner is warm and welcoming. Lovely little touches with toiletries, small fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. Excellent location next to the harbour but only a very short walk to the centre. We highly recommend.

Where do I start? A lovely warm welcome by a genuinely nice host who provide an appreciated cup of coffee & cake on our arrival. Excellent room & peaceful location. Breakfast was more than adequate & the polythene bag provided for any leftovers to take with us was also appreciated by a couple on a cycling holiday. Hinderloopen or Stavoran are the restaurant/bar options, both about 5 miles away, but we were well aware & prepared for that.

The location is truly amazing – a beautiful and peaceful village away from the city noise, right next to the lake and beach. It’s also very convenient for visiting Hoorn and exploring other great places in North Holland (West Friesland). The apartment itself is cozy, clean, and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel at home right away. The hosts are extremely kind and hospitable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The hosts were super accommodating with picking the keys up - as we were running a little bit late from travelling! On arrival, the apartment was absolutely spotless and really well presented. Menno gave us the tour of the apartment and recommended a few places nearby which was nice. Plus, the welcome basket was a lovely touch and we made use of! The apartment itself was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our short stay in Hoorn. The location also meant that shops were only a short walk away and plenty of places to eat.
