Owners were super lovely and helped return an item I left on the island asap! They picked us up from the ferry and had a courtesy car we could hire during our stay which was invaluable. Cabins are fairly close to each other but private enough we could enjoy our stay. Had washer and dryer available if needed.

It is a wonderful lone big house, looks new, on a hill overlooking a lake, beautiful scenery. The owners are very nice. It is a very spacious and quiet. Great fire place with plenty good fire wood. It was a great pleasure staying there. We had all the equipment and appliances that we needed, including washing machine and a dryer. Tips for guests: make sure you arrive there in daylight to make it easier to notice signs leading to the place. Read the owner's instructions and guidance well before arrival, including the WiFi code in case you need to call the owner with WiFi before you enter the house. Please be aware that there are no shops in the vicinity. It is highly recommended to buy your groceries in advance. The only restaurant which is within a reasonably short drive - closes early. The nearest food shop is a 15-20 minutes drive away, doesn't have much stuff and closes early. There is a pub near this shop which closes at about 10pm, to be verified. The kitchen closes much earlier. It is better to learn the area well in advance.

Bluff is just 15 min drive away, and Omaui beach offers peaceful strolls. Amy and John are wonderful hosts who add personal touches to the experience - fresh flowers, chocolates and bath bombs. Even the beautiful wooden garden decorations and bird-feeder were hand-carved by John.The outdoor bathing experience under the stars is a must. A truly therapeutic place to unwind and take in the nature.

El Te Anau Lakefront Backpackers se encuentra en un parque a orillas del lago Te Anau, a 5 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad, y ofrece vistas a la montaña y al lago desde la mayoría de las... Viajo mucho, creo que el de Te anau es el mejor Backpackers que conocí . La tarea que desempeña Cintia en recepción es muy efectiva y cálida a la vez. Todo es muy recomendable.
