Activities in the surrounding area include snorkeling, fishing, and scenic ocean tours. The location. Beach has soft white sand with complementary water activities. Pool area has great views and beds are comfy. Breakfast was also really good. We rented a cart and was fun to explore the island. Recommend staying at least 2 nights to fully enjoy the island

Everything we needed for a short break away ,the breakfast was continental style ,fresh fruit followed by eggs (done as you wanted)toast ,butter and jam ,we loved the homemade bread , also juice coffee and tea , enough to set you up for the day . The room was very nice if simple ,but you needed no more .The staff were very friendly and on hand if you needed anything . We hired a golf cart for 1 day ,Gerald arranged this for us . We wished we had stayed longer ,and will definitely return .

Featuring sea views, Sonny Island Resort Cabañas Frente al Mar in Punta Bajo Rico features accommodation, a garden, a private beach area, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Complimentary WiFi is offered. The manager greeted us as soon as we arrived, very much appreciated we were spoken in English! Good direction on how everything worked. Pleasant music in dining area was so relaxing and the food for welcome was a nice surprise! Very organized and so clean! Furniture was very comfortable. Beds were a very important thing for me, but they were comfortable & fresh! Including pillows. The cabins were impeccably clean!!! Not even a speck of sand. No unpleasant smells in cabin either. Just clean & relaxing. The porch was perfect for a private seating space. ❤️

The apartment with a terrace and sea views features 2 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and 2 bathrooms with a shower. Towels and bed linen are provided in the apartment. The property has an outdoor dining area. Location is incredible, very close to dock. The porch is a major high point, we enjoyed cool breezes in the morning and evening with our coffee. We booked this property in particular for 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms on different floors so we didnt hear each other snoring nor require a bathroom schedule. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water. The TV is high quality. Frig is large and held excellent temp. Location is a short golf cart ride (highly recommend) to Playa Cacique (we took the loft's gravity chairs and 1 beach towel each to the beach so no rental fees for chairs or umbrella) and ate breakfast at that hotel's restaurant ($50 for 2 omelets, bacon, toast, coffee and oj). Beds were comfortable. The air-conditioning kept very cool/cold in the main areas, what a relief from the humidity. Michaela and Elena were both very responsive, addressed our needs quickly and pleasantly, and endeavored to make our stay great.

Snorkelling equipment rental, tour desk, and laundry services are offered. Golf Cart rental is possible on site as well as free parking. Some activities that guests can practice while at Casa del Sol are fishing, whale watching, snorkelling, island hopping and visiting the tranquil beaches that are app 500 metres from the property.
