We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villas at Gone Fishing Resort in Boca Chica! From the moment we arrived, Brad, the owner, made us feel welcome and taken care of. He is such a great host – super friendly, helpful, and always around if you need anything. The resort itself is a little paradise - feels like a hidden gem. The pool is fantastic for cooling off and relaxing, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the whole property is surrounded by beautiful nature, which makes it easy to completely unwind. Breakfast was always delicious, especially the fresh fruits that were served every morning. We also went on the whale watching tour, which was a great experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. All in all, we had an unforgettable time at this place. Fantastic well equipped room, great access to the beach and great swimming pool (although water was slightly hot), very helpful staff

Right down the road from some good places to eat. 17 minutes from the beach. This was a favorite place that we stayed.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Las Lajas Beach Resort is located right on the beach. It features an on-site tour desk,, plus free WiFi and beautiful gardens. The staff went out of their way as we had to extend our stay due to the protests and road closures. Also my massage was fantastic.

A real gem: wonderfully inviting and friendly place. Beautiful bungalows set in a lush garden. Restaurant serves some seriously delicious Italian cuisine (best gnocchi ever). Owners were the perfect hosts: they were warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Wished we would have stayed for longer!
