The place had a great location, it was very private and peaceful. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Thank you Natalie for being a great host. The food amazing, I had most of my meals there and they were all fresh and delicious. I loved the free kayaks, SUP boards and snorkeling equipment. All transfers to and from the island were arranged by the host which was super helpful. Thank you again!

Incredible and unique place, but it may not be for everyone. The owners are very kind and helpful, the area and the huts are amazing. Due to the nature of the place (pun intended) it comes with some challenges (remote place, bugs, geckos entering your room, taking a short hike to get to the dining area, jungle noises at night...) but I couldn't list them as negative things since it's a part of the experience. Make sure you read the description carefully and especially the message sent by the place after booking to avoid surprises!

Very pretty location among large tropical trees. Carmen and Marcel are incredible hosts. For four days you feel like part of a family with the hosts and other guests. The breakfast is large and flavorful and the dinners combine great food with fun company. We also had two sloths hanging out in the nearby trees.

You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

El Lodge en Punta Rica... El Hilltop Eco-Lodge with Views & Pool es un bed and breakfast recientemente reformado situado en Bastimentos, donde los huéspedes pueden aprovechar al máximo su piscina con... Punta Rica Lodge is definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed at in Central America. Rooms are very spacious and absolutely spotless (and very well decorated!). Staff was amazing - we got upgraded to a larger room and had complementary pick-up and drop-off to & from the main island. Daniel was extremely nice, gave us very useful recommendations, and he is an outstanding chef. Definitely recommend having dinner there at least once to try his delicious food. Breakfast is included and those were the best avocado toast and pancakes we’ve had in our lives. This place is a must! Very nice swimming pool and common area - with a sea view. Really hope to come back one day!

El alojamiento, construido en 2008, está a 2,6 km de Playa de Carenero.... Luis and his family were so hospitable, the food he cooked us was delicious! The place itself is so tranquil looking over the water. We loved staying here and wish we could’ve stayed longer, it was very chilled and simplistic island life.
