We also tried the spa at the Aqua Natura Bay on a rainy day and it was perfect! I would not hesitate to stay there again!

Location is the best in town to watch the NYE fireworks. They allow hotel guests a privileged part of the rooftop to enjoy the 360 view. The rooftop bar serves amazing drinks and food. The Friday night kabab menu was the best meal we had in Funchal. Croissants are delivered daily to your room. All this is wonderful, but the customer service is what sets Three House Hotel apart. The property features a year-round outdoor pool, indoor pool, fitness centre and garden. The hotel was excepcional, the stuff very friendly and helpfull. And the highlight was the spa, we highly recomend it.

The rooms come with a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. A balcony or patio are featured in certain rooms. Every room includes a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Everything about the Sao Francisco accommodation was excellent. Starting with the communication with the manager, then the location itself, which is fantastic, the room is clean, nicely furnished, everything is as described. The breakfast is good. Everything you need is on the menu, whether you like cereals, sweet or savoury breakfast, fruit salad, juices, cakes... The woman who serves breakfast is very friendly and takes great care to ensure everything is in order. The manager Sonia is very helpful to make your stay in Funchal perfect. We can only say the best for the manager Sonia and Sao Francisco accomodation.

Guests can use the hot tub while relaxing with the Atlantic Ocean views. Massage services and a gym are available. For the sports fans, the Aqua Natura features a diving centre on site. The natural swimming pools are a few steps away. Even in bad weather you can still relax with a view of the sea :) Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. Parking at the hotel. The location is also good for trips to nearby levadas by car. We also ordered a massage (standard quality) and ate at a Japanese restaurant (longer wait, but good food). Wifi without problems.

Located close to Funchal’s city centre, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Meliã Madeira Mare offers free WiFi, an indoor and outdoor pool and a spa. Its elegantly-furnished rooms offer a balcony and cable TV. Our room had a large balcony and ocean view. The outdoor pool area and bar was a great place to relax. The nightly music was great. The location of the hotel to the waterfront restaurants and ocean swimming areas is outstanding.

The spacious rooms are individually designed following the 4-seasons-of-the-year theme. Each features an LCD TV with in-room movies, free WiFi and a laptop-size safe. Probably the comfiest hotel bed we've ever slept in - the quality of the sheets, matress and pillows was incredible. we got a free upgrade to a suite, the room was enormous and beautiful, with a freestanding bathtub. Breakfast was delicious, the hotel design was very fun. Beautiful rooftop pool and bar. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Would love to go back!
