This place is a gem with everything catered for every need. The accommodation is new ,well designed with good quality bedding and mosquito protection and is exceptionally clean its very comfortable all round and not what i was expecting. This is a proper high end Eco getaway and far from basic .I'd give it 4star all day long . Thomas is a great host , great food all fresh and straight from the ocean .He reads his guests well .and has fridge well stocked with soft drinks, juices , beers and nice Spanish and Portuguese wines and spirits. Local coffee is on tap it's so good. There's plenty to do here ,amazing clean beach and safe surf. All the toys are available from Boule to kayaking , fishing and hiking .plenty of board games and most importantly the best unlimited WiFi connection. There's hammocks slung everywhere with plenty of private chill areas on elevated platforms.its really been well thought out . Can't wait to bring the family thanks Paul

Set in São Tomé and only 600 metres from Emília Beach, casa Luis offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. This recently renovated homestay features a building dating back to 2010, which is 1.7 km from the Lagarto Beach. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Mr Luis was the perfect host. The grounds were beautiful. The place was clean and comfortable. The pool so refreshing and peaceful - perfect for cooling off each night. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Kitchen access was very convenient for preparing meals, along with a nice dining and living room area for relaxing, or socializing with other guests. Luis was always available to address any issues or answer any questions. We were able to keep our bags safely locked at the House while venturing over to Principe for 5 days, then return for another 3 days’ stay at Casa Luis. Luis made our trip to São Tomé seamless, pleasant and memorable.

The views were amazing and the staff were all very kind and helpful. Overall, we had a very nice experience staying in Gente D'Aqui. Special thanks to Sara, who was our host at that time, and was very friendly and looked after our family very well. Prior to travelling we also had a lot of help and assistance from Joao, who answered all of our questions promptly, in a very kind and patient manner. Gente D'Aqui is well-located for visiting all the tourist highlights on the island of Sao Tome.

The accommodation features room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. clean and new rooms, comfy bed, good wifi and A/C, nice pool, but above all great host and staff - they were extremely helpful and fulfilled literally every wish i had :) i'd recommend to go for their rental cars too - the local car rental agencies i had were not very reliable and i got really old cars (but inexpensive, ok) ;)

The accommodation provides a minimarket, and currency exchange for guests. Pleasantly surprised. I booked last minute and I was not expecting anything fancy but the room was really great! A/C worked, shower with warm water and a fridge to keep bottle of water inside. The staff goes beyond everything if you can manage to communicate with them! The location for me was perfect, central and near a supermarket. The breakfast at the bar downstairs is also great! You can walk around, it is safe ! I would definitely stay there again.

It is located on a very pretty part of the island really close to a very beautiful beach. There are also only 2 cottages so it’a never busy with people. Great place to relax. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

The host Bernilda is very nice and helpful and the location is very central only one street away from the market.
