The lodge offers a variety of unique experiences—from a scenic boat tour around Lake Bunyonyi’s historical islands to hiking trails, local craft shopping, and even tasting traditional banana gin! Every moment was filled with adventure and cultural discovery. One of the highlights was the delicious farm-to-table meals prepared with fresh local ingredients. Whether it was a hearty breakfast by the lake or a cozy dinner under the stars, every meal was a delight. The location is great; small island in lake Bunyonyi, perfect to disconnect for some days from the busy Kampala. There is not much to do around, but that fits perfect if what you are looking for is peace and quiet. The lodge has a private swimming deck to the lake- highly recommended to go for a swim there! And shoutout to the library they have- it made by day when I got there. They also provide with free Black Tea in case you fancy that as companion to the reading, appart from the great views. The profits from the lodge go back to the island communities, so we paid dinner with pleasure.

The accommodation is in a beautiful location on Lake Bunyonyi. The accommodation is very clean and the staff are impeccable. Especially Fiona was very smiley and ready to help with anything. Definitely rent a traditional canoe and take a trip to the nearby islands alone or with a group

Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort, a resort, is a property situated in Kabale. This resort offers a private beach area and free WiFi. The property provides mountain views and a barbecue. My king room with a lake view was lovely - roomy, and extra bed for luggage placement, shelving in the bathroom. The view was the most serene of our two week Uganda tour. The boat ride to the resort because the road was washed out was an added bonus . The food was very good, too.

Everything is good there. I'm a nostalgic person so the stay was worth my liking. The remoteness makes it all comfortable. It cuts you off from the modern world and it's horrors. The staff is so disciplined. The hosts are really great people, when you visit it's like you have become apart of the family. The cottages are really nice. Very well ventilated to keep out bugs. The lake view is awesome. Oh my God the food 😃 It's safe from dangerous animals and reptiles. Star gazing is one of the must-do things while there, it's so beautiful. I could go about it forever.

The location was excellent, the service was good and the whole property was spotless. Parking area was good. The hotel boats for lake trips were well appointed and staffed. The hotel coped with my special diet without any problem.
