This property is situated a short distance from attractions such as Natural Spring Fountain and Boschkloof 4WD-trail. Our group of 7 had a fantastic 3 days at the farm. We stayed in Honey Cottage- it is well equipped with a lovely verandah and plunge pool. It is a 900m walk to the stunning waterfalls-a great way to cool off and enjoy nature. Aaron & Sophia were around when we needed anything. We’d recommend this property to others looking for a getaway not too far from Cape Town. An added bonus is that it is pet friendly!

Location could not be better. Set in Amphitheater of magnificent Gifberg mountain range. Stunning sunsets and sunrises. Food was excellent and hosts hospitable and friendly.

Kitchen had all utensils. Spaciousness, View, Location, Alarm, Garage, Off-grid photovoltaic system, beautiful garden, west facing over the dam for gorgeous sunset. Owner had plenty local brochures for us to browse. Peace, quiet and tranquility.

We were looking for somewhere to stayover for the night as were just passing through Clanwilliam. We opted for something not in the town and didn't really know where the property. To our joy we discovered it down a lovely gravel road near the town. We arrived as the sunset so had an opportunity to see the amazing location nestled into the mountains. Our little cottage was just lovely and right next to the river. Heaven!

The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and accommodative. The house is very safe and the vehicle was safe with locked gate. The estate is very nice and one can experience the nature. The bed was comfortable with a nice warm blanket for the cold windy evening. The fireplace was on and we were offered coffee and rusks. Breakfast was excellent and prepared and served by host’s themselves. The view from the patio to the dam is breathtaking especially with sunset.

Hosts Isabel and Nick treated me like an old friend from the moment of arriving. Thankyou so much for your warm hospitality. My room was large, well equipped and immaculately presented. I particularly enjoyed using the fireplace/Braai during sunset with views of the distant mountains. Beautiful and a very memorable stay for me.
