I can recommend this place for every person who will appreciate calm, warm and friendly environment for a stay in Cairo. The owners were doing their best to make us feel at home, and made a place to rest after intensive day of sightseeing. Their helpful approach helped us resolve problems which occurred during our stay. The view from terrace was uproarious. Thank you!

10 star experience all around. The service from the staff was top notch - they were so welcoming, helpful and went above and beyond with the little things to really create an all around beautiful experience. The breakfast was delicious every morning. The rooms are very cozy and very clean. And the views were incredible.

We stayed 4 fantastic days at Hostalio. The staff, like Mustafa, Abdullah, Juba, and all the other guys, treated us like family members. They called us taxis anytime we asked; they were ready to help promptly. We travelled at the time of Eid-al-Adha and decided to celebrate with them. Abdullah offered to show us their praying place; he bought us their traditional sugarcane drink, took us to a place where a lot of Muslims prayed together at the same time, and then we went to see the place where people slaughtered sheep, goats, and lambs. He even offered me his own traditional Muslim dress that I was more than happy to wear. On the afternoon Abdullah knocked on our door and invited us for dinner of their traditional food, which was so delicious. We had great long talks with Mustafa (archaeologist) on the terrace almost every night, and he was more than willing to share their culture and all his knowledge about the pyramids. The breakfast was delicious and huge! So all in all, everything was fantastic!

Very nice place, kind manager and all facilities are available. Clean room, bathroom and kitchen. Accessibility to taxi and public transportation is good. We really liked this hostel and we had a great time there.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful in a good location for the pyramids and sphinx. Staff were fantastic too. They also arranged a tour of the pyramids and sphinx with Mr Mohammed who was an absolutely amazing tour guide with top notch photography skills! Really good value for money.
