Lovely hosts who gave very helpful advice about the area. Very welcoming . Food lovely. Drying cupboard for wet boots and outer clothing. Lovely room with kettle and plenty selection to make hot drinks. Snacks available. Board games and a great selection of books to read both local and fiction.

This former church has been tastefully converted, enabling retention of the original features. Auld Kirk B&B is situated in the heart of picturesque Royal Deeside.

We loved home cooked breakfast, design of interiors and advice on spending time around (when it comes to trekking, looking for dinner with children, drinks or other activities nearby) provided by the best owner we have met (Helen). Welcome drink and cookies appreciated as well :) We wish we could have stayed longer.

No 45, Ballater is a guesthouse set in an acre of gardens and is just 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Ballater. The individually designed rooms each offer unique charm.

Kildrummy Inn promises a harmonious and charming experience. Generally, statements on websites are overstated, but I would say in the case of Kildrummy Inn, they can not fully explain the whole gratifying experience. The staff is very helpful, the whole interior design is just so completely >right<, the food is delicious and the rooms, though small, have all little details checked. That's all just facts though, the whole feeling of the place is just soothing. Great experience, would recommend and we're definitely coming back!

But the real highlight of my stay was the amazing full breakfast that Martyn and Louise prepared. It was an absolute feast for the senses! The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon filled the air, enticing me to the dining area. The selection of pastries, freshly squeezed juices, and a variety of mouthwatering dishes was simply outstanding. The ingredients were clearly sourced with care, and the flavors were sublime. It was evident that Martyn and Louise poured their passion and expertise into every bite, making it a truly memorable culinary experience. Beyond the delectable breakfast, Martyn and Louise went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed during my stay. Overall, my one night stay at Martyn and Louise's bed and breakfast exceeded all expectations.
