It was lovely when we got there but got even better. I was sick on arrival and we ended up staying longer than planned. Sharon was fantastic, really taking care of us both. And the room has the best bed I think I have ever slept in... And since I was in it a lot, it was even more appreciated.

Our room, on the top floor, was called the Mill Room. Looked like it was recently renovated, as felt very new. Very nice and highly recommended.

This place is fabulous, we stayed in Oak for 2 nights whilst visiting friends. Everything has been thought of for your comfort, from a super comfy huge bed, home made granola, chocolate brownies on arrival. The outside space is also beautiful but as it's November didn't get the opportunity to use. Thanks to Dan the owner, really helpful and friendly, we will be back.

We had two veeeery large bike cases and we were allowed to leave them there for 10 days, while around. Friendly people, super welcoming and nice to us. Great pub, and concert room On Wednesday at our return we had the Asian dinner which was lovely. The flower pot is a great place to stay!

Comfortable, clean and warm. Room was light, well decorated and beautiful bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Hosts very welcoming and excellent breakfast both mornings of my stay. Great for a solo female traveller. Parking on site. I did a walk nearby around Newstead with a view of the abbey. Looking forward to returning!
