We felt incredibly welcome thanks to Rachel and Andy! They really are the sweetest! Binkie, our Jack Russell, also got enough attention. Super cozy B&B. We had a wonderful room on the 2nd floor with good beds and coffee and tea making facilities. Every morning we were served a fantastic breakfast. We had nice conversations and got a lot of tips for the area. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and Hastings is about 15 minutes by car. Enough restaurants nearby and supermarket also within walking distance. We hope to visit again!

A wonderful warm welcome from Alison, who was so helpful throughout our stay. The property is gorgeous - beautiful and comfortable room, with small fridge, tea-making and toiletries included. Very clean and also comfy beds. The dining room was so lovely and cheerful and breakfast was amazing - and everyone was catered for. A well stocked honestly bar too, which we didn’t use, but a great idea.

This isn’t a hotel - it’s a guesthouse. So you’re emailed key details which you unlock from a key safe. But it’s GREAT. Really nice touches - huge towels are something most hotels should pick up on - and very safe and secure. Right by Hastings train station and it will take you less than 5 mins to walk down to the sea. Book with total confidence. It’s like having your own apartment.

The hosts were really kind and helpful during our stay. When we arrived we were offered drinks and sat by the fireplace, that definitely win me over. The room was massive, very clean and nice decorated. We had biscuits, tea and coffee in the room. We done a massage in the treatment rooms, must say that was magic, they done a really great job and I want to go back for sure. The breakfast was included and was divine, several options and really good ones. My partner wasn't feeling so well and they offered us an extra night on the house, this was very kind. If you are looking for a nice place to stay with a treatment room, this is the place.

But this place offers far more than just a morning feast fit for royalty. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth by our exceptional host – a French gentleman who seems to have made it his life’s mission to perfect the art of hospitality. His attention to detail, local knowledge, and heartfelt enthusiasm made us feel not just accommodated, but truly looked after. Whether it was insider tips on where to dine, hidden corners of Hastings to explore, or day trips in the surrounding countryside – every recommendation was spot on. The breakfast was, quite simply, sublime – lovingly prepared, beautifully presented, and worthy of a fine dining experience (without the stiff upper lip). Fresh ingredients, thoughtful variety, and that unmistakable touch of passion that makes all the difference. Throughout our journey along the South Coast, this was without a doubt the best overall experience – a true highlight. It’s rare to find such a perfect combination of charm, comfort, and quality.
