Very good value. The room was spotless. The beds very comfortable.we had dinner and breakfast in the cafe . Very good home cooking. Nothing fancy but hot and plenty to eat.

This was actually a better room (Penkridge) and at a lower cost than the 'superior' room (Western) we booked (at the Lion) the previous two nights. It was bigger without any large furnature to get in the way. Also, only one floor up so easier to get to in this listed building.

A charming and comfortable home, very relaxed, interesting and eclectic inside, and the facilities were excellent. Victoria was very thoughtful and helpful, communicated very efficiently prior to our arrival, and made a splendid and very tasty breakfast for us.
