Wonderful location, we didn't use our car at all once we arrived, everything was so close! The owner is so friendly and helpful (great dinner & activity recommendations) we will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area. We loved hearing a bit of the history of the B & B. Lots of coffee, teas available in our room & full English breakfast in the dining room. Had a great sleep in a very comfortable bed.

Sally was wonderful, very accommodating and very welcoming. She was very kind and helped me fix my booking mistake, and stayed back for a later check-in as we hit bad traffic on the multi hour drive to the hotel. Beautiful tea room area, the breakfast was always great and the other staff were always helpful and courteous. The room was clean and well made up, the shower was great, good pressure, the heat range was good and stable. Great light blocking curtains. Open-shelving clothing rack made the room feel bigger and I didn't have to worry if I left something as I could always see what I hung or stowed away. Super close to the aqueduct and canal nearby.

A lovely house, in a quiet location a short walk from the town centre. Room was very big, and had a terrific view of the town and the mountains beyond. Very comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Great cooked breakfast. Hosts very welcoming.

The facilities was lovely- we arrived at 16:00 in Nov so we didn’t get see the river flowing passed. The breakfast is served in the cafe attached to the bedroom bit. The locks for entry are modern all explained well at the start. Parked briefly outside the large green gate where there was pub- was fine some vaping and smoking whilst emptying the car. Then went looking for a on street parking which there was. Moved car to outside the hotel which made leaving easy. Breakfast was 8am start - you need to order. We did think someone would come up to our table - so wasted a little time there. So have a look at the menu and get ordering…to start your day. The front of the hotel is right in the street there was access to pubs and restaurants nearby - would recommend booking a table is wanting to eat out we managed to get a table at the Italian around the corner 7” pizza for children with free drink was good and the burgers where tasty.

Deb is an excellent hostess. The accommodation is homely and inviting. It felt like I was visiting a friend. Deb thinks of all the little touches to make your stay complete. Could not have been better. All the staff were great - in particular Denise, Hannah and Vicky in the kitchen. Also evening staff welcomed us and made us comfortable. Lovely bar atmosphere. Breakfast was grear. And everyone were lovely with our dog!
