After you have done 50/100+ reviews for budget accommodation, it becomes a PITA, and you just enter a score, hit finish, and move on. Occasionally, though, you find a place so good you just have to say something. After weeks of being in places where there was either traffic noise, calls to prayer, roosters crowing, frogs croaking, dogs barking, night insects chirping, etc, Zizi Homey Room 202 was GLORIOUSLY QUIET. Besides the quietness, the accommadation seems brand new. The room was sparkling clean and smelt amazing (automatic air freshener), quality bed linen (loved the bolster), AC, hot water (not always a given in Sumatra) and multi plug/USB wall sockets to mention just a few of many. Also, good communication with host Zizi about check-in/out and restaurants/shops/activities in the area. All in all, a great place to stay at a very reasonable price. Ohhh. Forgot to mention, there is a kitchen on the ground floor which I did not use but assume guests could if they were staying long term??

This small beautiful hotel is a paradise, everything is perfect here. Friendly staff, excellent food and amazing choice of coffee! Rooms are clean and cozy, the person who worked on design has a very good taste! Really enjoyed staying there and will stay again once in Medan.

Very clean room, bedlinen and towels (big cotton towels changed every day), clean bathroom. Free small water bottels. Comfy mattress. Air condition perfect. Big Window to open. Spacy room with wardrobe, desk and chair. Shower with very good water pressure and warm water regulation. WiFi good. Extraordinary nice and helpful personell, arranged very early taxi transport to the airport for us. Thank you! ATM, supermarket and restaurants, and the Museum, in short walking distance. We recommend to stay at this hotel.

The staff is super nice and friendly and willing to help with everything. The location is relatively close to the city center but in a very calm area with a nice garden and plenty of outdoor space and seating. They also cook nice food here! Cleaning / new towels is done when you ask for it.
