The most amazing stay on my Flores trip. The family is wonderful, there is always hot coffee and time on the table. The lady of the house is always offering to taste local specialties. The rooms are cozy and everything is extremely clean. Ruteng is in the mountains, a raincoat and warm clothes are necessary.

Great host, amazing homestay! We stayed for one night, but wished we could stay longer. The homestay is close to Transflores road, but you dont hear the traffic, and also few minutes driving to Ruteng, looking down the valley. Phillipo (the owner) is very nice. He welcomed us, prepared for us delicious dinner. Next morning we enjoyed amazing sunrise from the room, and we were given tasty breakfast. Simple and clean homestay, close to Ruteng. In the next days Phillipo helped us with tips and by sharing his contacts on Flores, as he used to work in tourism. Without him we couldnt have organised Komodo boat tour, as we were too late to take the classic tours. On top of everything, he speaks english very well, so we could ask everything we wanted to know about the island. Thank you, Phillipo!
