The location is above the village, some 10 or 15 minute walk up a small road, quiet and peaceful, nearer to the tiny village of Castello than Riolunato. If you have an app on your phone to help you find it then it is a great help. The accommodation is rather sweet, fully equipped should you wish to self cater. The homemade cakes, biscuits, yoghurt etc were superb and very welcome. The bed was very comfortable, The host was very welcoming. There is only the one room so there is no one else to disturb your peace.

The host is extremely kind and nice . We felt personally welcomed. Its such a wonderful feeling when you feel that you are not just one of many gests, but are personally welcomed. I don’t usually write reviews after my stays, but Francesca and her Borgo truly deserve it. She has turned a simple, charming place into a magical retreat. Everything was spotless, well cared for, and thoughtfully arranged. Francesca herself was incredibly warm and helpful—always available when we needed anything, without ever being intrusive. We had the most wonderful few days and couldn’t have wished for a better experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic escape!
