We had the most amazing stay with Suman in Sigiriya, Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us like family; so kind, caring, and always ready to help. There are only two cabanas, so book quickly: they’re cozy, spotless, and feel just like home. The views from the cabanas are incredible: you can see both Pidurangala and Lion Rock, and Suman even showed us a hidden path to a secret viewpoint. The garden is beautiful, with wild peacocks roaming freely, and watching the sunrise or sunset from there is magical. Suman goes above and beyond:he drove us around, helped with shopping souvenirs, told us stories, and made sure we had everything we needed. His wife’s food is absolutely delicious, and you must try breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared by her—it’s homemade. Staying here isn’t just about accommodation—it’s about feeling cared for, like part of Suman’s family. This experience was truly unique, unforgettable and a place i hope to come back. This home stay is just everything u need in Sigiriya. perfectly located in the middle of the village. The hosts are very attentive and help a lot if u want to arrange activities or transportation for a fair price (arranged 4:45 am tuktuk for sunrise hike, safary, transport to Dambulla and other cities. They also offered us a dinner for 1800 rupees, which was cheap compared to local restaurants and the best food we had in the area!! Price value ration is definitely good, especially since u ought to pick an accommodation in this range cause entrance fees and activities are quite pricy there. Highly recommend!

There's very little more I can say about enaya cottage that hasn't already been said in the reviews already, but suffice to say we had a wonderful two day stay here in Sigiriya. The property itself is very much hidden away after the main drag in Sigiriya, but that's only a good thing. The peace one experiences here is beyond compare, total relaxation. Our host was impeccable, a true gentlewoman who literally couldn't do enough for us. Both mornings we were up early (to scale Lion Rock and Pidurangaia) and for a hot air balloon trip out of Dambulla. Amazing Safari,They have their own jeep.Safari was so much fun and we saw many things.. In both instances, our host (I apologise for not recalling his name) was up before us, breakfast served on our patio. Nothing was too much trouble, and his smile only served to brighten our day. Big rooms, decent sized bathroom, and excellent breakfasts. What more does one need?
