It is difficult to know what to write as a review when everything was such a perfect fit for us; the property location, rooms, hosts, breakfast/refreshments on offer and overall ambiance all superb. The many animals on site may not prove to everyone’s taste but it is their home, and for us they added a wonderful extra reason to enjoy our stay. Susana and Vasco are such hospitable and helpful hosts, yet not at all intrusive, so we felt truly at home from the first minute to the last - it was so hard to leave when the time came! Thank you, we will return for sure one day.

Beautiful quiet countryside location. Spacious bright clean rooms. Large shower with ample hot water. Breakfast included good food options. It was very chilly outside but the heater in the room allowed us to control the conditions. Staff turned down our beds while we were at dinner. When we returned we found they had also put hot water bottles under the covers to warm up. Nice touch!

An ideal location if you just want to switch off from all the troubles in the world. Almost total silence except for the noises of nature. Marcia is a lovely friendly lady and nothing seems to be too much trouble. She makes sure your stay is as perfect as can be. The owner is a lovely friendly lady and it was our pleasure to stay for a few nights. We will definitely return. An ideal location with a wonderful view of Monsaraz Castle. 10/10

We loved staying here at Casa Pinto. It was such a treat to be in this amazing old village in such a beautiful room. The rooftop balcony was amazing!!! Breakfast was also great and we had lots of choices of what to eat.
