Billion Views certainly lives up to its name - we really can't emphasise enough how spectacular the views are from just about every angle. A particular treat was waking up on our first morning and seeing the thick mist slowly rise as the sun rose, and all the spectacular mountains come into view. Chompunut is the consumate host, and is willing to share her recommendations for exploring the area (including some great hot springs about an hour away) and also arranged for us a great day-trip to the nearby National Park. We enjoyed her delicious home cooking for both breakfast and dinner, and she was kind enough to share some Thai cooking techniques before dinner in the form of a mini-lesson, which was very sweet (and informative). We felt sad to leave such a fantastic place, and the sheer majesty (and peace and quiet) of this location will remain with us for a long time.

Beautiful accommodation. The bungalows are set in a stunning tropical garden full of gorgeous plants. The bungalow amenities were modest (though some were newer), but perfectly sufficient, including air conditioning and fans. Nice, large swimming pool. There’s a lovely restaurant on-site with an extensive menu, including breakfast options. The food was absolutely delicious. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. She arranged a private van transfer from Surat Thani airport, a ride to Donsak Pier, and even a full-day trip on the lake. Everything was perfect!

The staff were the friendliest people. The tent was very clean and I slept really well there. The place is really nice and quiet. I really enjoyed the time I was there. I would definitely go back!

The lady running this accommodation is the best! She helped us so much and is incredibly kind. Breakfast was nice. The Bungalows are pretty furnished, the AC is Very quiet and efficient. It's located a couple of hundred meters away from the rather busy center of Khao Sok. We enjoyed this.

Eid and her husband are absolutely amazing hosts! By far my favourite accommodation experience since being in Thailand. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at their Homestay, with home cooked food and even a live performance from Eid’s husband, a talented guitarist! The staff at Khaosok Happy House went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Unfortunately we were unwell during our time in Khao Sok (unrelated to the happy house hostel), however the staff were extremely thoughtful, checking on our welfare, providing medication, water, fruit, information on local pharmacies, and even a discounted stay for additional nights needed due to being unable to travel to our next destination. We are extremely grateful for Khaosok Happy House’s kindness during our stay, they made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable, and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We enjoyed our stay at Evergreen Guesthouse so much. The hostess is tremendously helpful and offers drinks. We were in a hurry and even got toasts from her, so sweet! Also her brother Kai helped us with the night safari and transfer, topper! The room with the bunk bed was very clean and the bathrooms were fine. Would recommend the stay to anyone!
