B&Bs in Pran Buri

The Shark is delightful. It is set in tropical jungle just outside the town of Pranburi. All rooms feature a west facing huge 'picture' window looking out on the tropical plants and birds that surround the property. The resort is very peaceful and tranquil and is ideal for people who want a relaxing quiet break. Each room has a door and balcony to the rear where you can soak up early morning sunshine and get your vitamin D restored. And a front door and huge balcony that provides shade from the day's sun. And the bathrooms are gorgeous 'wet rooms' with great showers. Khun Noi, the resort manager was so welcoming and helpful for me, taking me into Pranburi for lunch every day as I didn't have a motorcycle. A wonderful place to unwind. Book yourself in for a month, you probably need it!

Nick and May are super hosts, they make you feel at home! The breakfast was adapted to are needs and the space for eating and relaxing where super confortable! The room was spacious with your own terrace, they have gym set up and they can take you for paddleboard tour and you can take a bike to go around! The location is perfect with a nice view and it’s close to everything around but in a quiet environment !!! They will help you with all the activities and things to see around like caverns with temple inside and national parks with elephants…

We had a wonderful stay at Lyndale Lodge. Initially we booked for 4 nights but half an hour after we arrived we booked 3 more nights. David made us feel so welcome. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They’ll make sure you can rent a motorbike and give tips about the area, sightseeing and food. Though I recommend you stay for dinner at Lyndale because the cook is absolutely fantastic. The room is spacious, with enough room to store all your luggage away. We even had our own “built in closet”. The pool is nice and big, the ocean is 2 minutes away. If you’re lucky like we were, you’ll get to enjoy the company of the owners friends and laugh and have a beer with them. Overall, this place just radiates the love that is put into it. Since Lyndale has been reopened a couple of months ago, they are still making changes for the better, like building an outside shower to use before you hop into the pool. As a guest it is nice to see that they are thinking about how they can make the guest house even more comfortable. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

We really enjoyed our time at Baan Mahasamut and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and natural getaway. We extended our stay twice 😂 and appreciated exploring Pranburi for 15 days. The rooms are nice, beautiful, and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need, and the pool with a Mountain View is definitely a highlight. Som, Peter, and Theo are really cool! Thank you for hosting us.

Short walk to the beach…short walk to great shopping mall and the Cicada and Tamarind night markets. Breakfast was always made to order…your choice from traditional North American fare with fresh bread and salads to Thai style porridge. The owners and staff were extremely gracious and helpful.

Where do I start? I have had the most stress free, exciting, wonderful time in khao sam roi Rod, and my stay played a large part in that! The room: at Nice Home Stay, there are two mini houses to stay in, they have a shared garden, but a building separates them visibly for privacy, the houses themselves are immaculate, having only been built very recently, you have a regular sized fridge, air conditioning (with fan only option built in), a huuuge king sized bed (with the standard hard mattress you will commonly find across Thailand, which is much better for your back than a soft one), a kettle and an en suite with a hot shower. Noi will bring you 2 small bottles of water and more coffee and whitener daily Shampoo and conditioner is provided, with a lovely lemon scent, along with handsoaps. The garden: the garden is very well maintained, there is a washing machine outside that takes coins, there are private seats & table on each individual porch, with ashtray provided, there is also a communal seating area, should you want to hang out with your neighbours. The bicycles stored outside are free to use - which are great for exploring the local area with. Scooter rental: this was one of the things that really made me feel relaxed, the scooter rental was totally hassle free, while it was a tiny bit more expensive than other local places at 300baht a day (though it is peak season currently) it was well worth it for the peace of mind of not having to leave my passport. And as much as the local area is beautiful, you really do benefit from having your own transport to explore the many many amazing areas that Sam roi yod has to offer which are driving distance away! My scooter was in great condition and I was provided with a helmet.

Lovely place, lovely people. It's perfect resort to stay for night, two or more! Great beach is 1 minut from Resort You can find also a swimming pool :)

The guy who was in charge helped us with so much. Gave us tips, arranged scoters to us and even drove us to the train station

Nice staff, cute little hotel, very pleasant! I was in the shared room for a couple of nights and it was very quiet. There are some restaurants, supermarkets and cafes around, so that was very nice!

Location, comfort and people. It is near to the beach, to great restaurants.
